Pants Fitting Class with Jennifer Stern Hasemann
For 2 days, we gathered in the big room and learned how to make pants fit ourselves. We started by creating one leg and hooking it to our made-at-home waistbands. Literally hooking since we used Velcro to do the attaching. Tucks, darts, bigger or smaller seams were taken until the fit was what we wanted. Jennifer taught us how to transfer these adjustments to our paper patterns and then we created the second leg and sewed the crotch seam to have a pair of pants. Final fittings were done. Now, to sew up a pair of pants and revel in the knowledge we learned. Here are some photos of our learning time.
