May 2025 – Copying RTW with Elan Reid
Our own Elan Reid shared many tips on how to alter ready wear into new items. She modeled a pair of pants she had copied and we discussed fitting issues. Elan talked about a Sandra Betzina video she found very helpful in learning about copying RTW. She challenged us to take a men’s shirt from her stash and create something we could wear ourselves. These projects are due in August. Start thinking outside the box, ladies. What can you do with this fabric?
