September 2024 – Interfacings in garment sewing
Our fellow member Carmela, a tailoring aficionado, walked us through the myriad interfacings available on the market. She explained how the different types interact with fabric and showed us a large selection of them so we could feel them ourselves. Carmela also gave us pointers on when to use which type of interfacing, and shared her tips for working with them all. Tons of fun and learning – you should totes consider joining us next time.
